Hi Anbarasi
The best floor for dancing is the sprung floors which absorb some of the shock which can cause injury. The flooring is a beech floor, 22mm thick which is prefinished. The boards are laid on batons and foam which creates the spring. The batons are called Blubat and are made from Junckers.
The floor is also available from Junckers and comes in a choice of 3 grades - nature (rustic grade), harmony (semi-rustic grade) or classic (prime grade).
It is also possible to use the 10mm sport foam from Junckers rather than the batons - the boards are installed using the junckers clip system which are suitable for sports floors. The full specification for the boards can be found at www.junckers.com
