The full-length version of the DVD will be available for retailers and training purposes. An edited format will be available for individual consumers.

CRUK’s research suggests that around 75% of retailer’s customers would pay for such service. 74% of surveyed Carpet Foundation members admitted that they would pay for removal of carpet waste by their retailer.

“This high number is very encouraging and would be a significant help in diverting greater waste carpet volumes from landfill” said Jane Garner from Axion Consulting. The association has grown to 60 members across the supply chain, including 14 manufacturing members as core funders and 24 specialist carpet recyclers. Now retailers can find an alternative, cost-saving disposal route to landfill.
